We brought a backpack with snacks & water, which is convenient they let you bring it into the park! That saved us some $$ for sure! Food & drinks are expensive as can be expected.
Our gift card paid for our entrance minus $3, so that was good! It was, I believe, an add'l $25 to park or $45 for premium parking. It's basically just from the sheer number of people visiting! From the parking to finally entering the park, it took nearly an hour, which really surprised me! However, it was a pretty efficient process despite the time. However, an employee of ours got us a $500 gift card a few years ago.
I have not been a Disney fan or felt the need to ever go.
